We finally heard that our dossier has been accepted in Honduras…
& we received our first waiting list number!!!
We are officially #76!
When I read the email, I was completely overwhelmed!
It finally seemed “real” that we were indeed adopting…
I literally felt pregnant, all over again.

Sadly, our kiddos were out of town & we had to wait a whole week to tell them. Darrell & I wanted to do it in person & not over the phone.
So, I did what any normal pregnant lady would do… I got on Pinterest.
I reviewed other adoption blogs, read more about Honduras, & searched the internet for photos of Honduran children. Wondering at each glance… “Will her hair be that long? Will her eyes be that beautiful? How old will she be? Will she have dimples…??”
So many questions & feelings….
For now though… we have a number.
And that number represents a life.
