Once upon a time, (not that long ago!) a little girl named Kristin was born. She was the apple of her Mama’s eye and she was adored by her family. As life does, her world quickly began to unravel and she found herself broken and wounded.
The story My Story continues and is marked throughout with joy, pain, love and loss. Rinse and repeat.
It’s messy. Beautiful. Perfectly imperfect. And, I love every chapter.
What is it about stories?? That thing that makes us want to lean in… listen… laugh with the author or cry with her?
Darrell and I have done serious “work” on our own Stories over the past few years. Participating in some intensive story groups and leadership classes. It’s a powerful thing to know your Heart. To be able to live out a really great Story… putting the pen down on paper, changing things if needed, overcoming conflict and developing a character.
God has given us one life. One Story to tell.
As a photographer, my desire is to document those sacred moments so that you can see, know and… LOVE YOUR STORY.

So, welcome! Welcome to the real “Me”.
This new site has been in the works for a long time. It’s all about clean design and negative space…. space to allow the reader to read between the lines. Please engage when you’re here. Interact. Leave comments. Let your heart breathe as you view photos.

A big ‘Thank You’ to Leslie Vega for designing the logo, brand, and blog. She’s fabulous, creative, patient and lovely! If you need stationary or creative design, call her! The site will continue to evolve and change a little… just like me. 🙂 So, please check back often. Thank you for reading. I’m so grateful.
Hugs,

“No, life cannot be understood flat on a page. It has to be lived; a person has to get out of his head, has to fall in love, has to memorize poems, has to jump off bridges into rivers, has to stand in an empty desert and whisper sonnets under his breath… We get one story, you and I, and one story alone.” — Donald Miller
Love, Love, Love it!
Thanks Friend. Thinking and praying for you this week…
That’s one of my favorite Donald Miller quotes ever… every time I read it… it’s like I’m reading it for the first time.
Donald Miller is definitely a favorite of mine!! Love the quote too. Thanks, Kristine.
